Drystone Craft International™ provides bespoke on – site training and taster courses in Dry Stonework and Mortar bonded Stonework, tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals, groups and corporate clients; we offer a flexible service, enabling us to meet the needs of our clients.  We offer courses for DIY enthusiasts, businesses and for small business starters:-

We hold fourteen miles of dry stone walls, that we use for our training courses here in Lancashire.  If you would like to work alongside one of our Teacher Craftsmen on a one to one basis, or as a small group, all necessary arrangements can be made for you including accommodation.

At Drystone Craft International™ we have wealth of experience in dry and lime mortar stonework and in education. Our Craftsman teachers and lecturers are highly experienced, professionally qualified  teaching professionals, holding a relevant degree/ higher degree, postgraduate teaching qualification and Member status of the Institute for Learning.  All Drystone Craft International™ staff, regardless of their role, each hold recent higher level - Enhanced CRB check certificates.

 
All Drystone Craft International™ Craftsman Teachers and lecturers have worked in education and training at further and higher education institutions for some 20 years or more; they continue to work on a fractional basis in higher education in the fields of environmental management and rural skills, to maintain continuing professional development and keep abreast of new initiatives in this sector.

All Drystone Craft International™  Craftsman teachers and lecturers  have experience over many years of providing flexible delivery, tailored training and working with individuals on a one to one basis,  organisational groups, businesses and larger corporate organisations.

Whether your needs are for a one- off training day, a series of training days or more structured training, we will provide you with first rate tailored training, whether it be for a taster day, a skills development day or a staff away day for your business or organisation.

Only Highly skilled craftsmen will teach and support you throughout your course, either in small groups or on a one to one basis, as required.

From time to time, we offer placements under various bursary schemes, ranging from three months to two years. Contact your bursary placement provider for more details.
