Drystone Craft International™ is a highly skilled, long established family managed business, specialising solely in a distinctive blend of high quality, bespoke traditional dry stone walling, stonemasonry and design skills using natural dry stone.

The company continues to successfully build upon a strong, sustained and loyal client base throughout the UK and wider Europe and more recently the Middle East, based on quality, commitment and customer service; with long term repeat business and a focus on working with clients to achieve sustainable construction solutions, using natural dry stone.

Skills Base

What sets Drystone Craft International™ apart from other service providers, is the company's skills base. Our Skills base comprises both dedicated, highly experienced time served and formally certificated dry stone wallers and stonemasons, alongside highly experienced and formally qualified expertise in geology, environmental management, civil engineering, landscape design, higher/ further education, organisational management and administrative functions.

All our site operatives and managers hold appropriate health and safety certification and CSCS cards, under the Construction Industry Training Board construction Skills Certification Scheme - CSCS. Our education and training services in dry stone walling are provided by qualified, experienced lecturers who hold acredited Member status of the Institute for Learning.

Using construction industry and Health and Safety Executive best practice, along with all relevant licences, insurances and an ongoing staff development programme, the company places great emphasis in investing in all staff, valuing each individual, encouraging innovation, flair, new ways of thinking and personal growth.

Health, Safety and Construction Industry

The company is fully compliant with all current health and safety legislation, regularly reviews its health and safety policy and continuously reviews the staff development needs of its staff in this area; all staff hold formal qualifications in risk assessment, first aid and manual handling in addition to a wide range of other HSE approved training, applicable to the construction industry.
