Health & Safety
We continually and proactively adopt a firm committment to health and safety in the workplace, protecting our clients, the general public, other contractors and our own on-site staff.
All our operatives undergo specific training and continuously update and develop their existing health and safety skills. All training is reviewed on a regular basis and upgraded accordingly by our safety advisors.
We contract in specialist Health and Safety advice which enables us to keep up to date with the latest changes in government legislation and working practices; when on site, eachstonework team will have a health and safety advisor working within the team.
Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme - CHAS
We are working towards CHAS registration and expect to hold this registration by late spring 2012.
Construction Industry Training Board construction Skills Certification Scheme - CSCS
All our on site staff hold appropriate health and safety certification and CSCS registration, under the Construction Industry Training Board construction Skills Certification Scheme - CSCS.
CSCS Platinum Award
We hold the Platinum Award for our Commitmentto CSCS, demonstrating that at least 90% + of our onsite working staff have passed the CSCS Health and Safety test and hold a current CSCS card appropiate to their role within our business.

Here at t drystone Craft international™, 100% of our on-site working staff have passed the H&S test and hold a current CSCS cards.
Latest initiatives
- We have recently introduced 'in case of emergency' worker helmet identity sleeves (ICE), providing instant access by medical teams to workers' life saving medical information.
- All our staff are now qualified first aiders.
- All our staff are now qualified risk assessors.
